Lucyanne joined the Ministry of Justice in 1997 and has 25 years’ experience within Tribunals and the Civil Jurisdiction of the District Court. She has been responsible for various Tribunals i.e. Land Valuation Tribunal, Auckland District Court Disputes and Tenancy Tribunals and is the current Service Manager for the Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal and Lawyer and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal.
Lucyanne is of NZ Māori heritage and has led many events where customary protocols are observed i.e. Mihi Whakatau for newly appointed Judges, leads waiata groups and is a committee member of the National Māori Network. She assists the Ministry of Justice in their responsibilities to Māori.
