Dr. Robyn Mason
Sessional Member, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT)
Robyn Mason is a registered medical practitioner (MBBS, Melbourne) with a specialist Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, a Master of Business Administration from Monash University and a Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Her career has included top level leadership positions with the Australian Medical Association (Secretary General Federal AMA, 2004-2007, and Chief Executive AMA Victoria, 1993-2004), senior executive positions in hospital management (Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne), health service board directorships (Southern Health, Health Purchasing Victoria, North West Melbourne Primary Health Network and the Victorian Doctors’ Health Program).
Her focus on Clinical Governance includes responsibilities as Senior Medical Consultant with a medical recruitment company and Senior Medical Advisor to a specialist telehealth service working in both the private and public sectors.
She has been a Sessional Member of VCAT, Review and Regulation List, since 2017
