Bruce’s practices areas include public/administrative law, common law, workers compensation and appellate.
Bruce practices across South Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania and has chambers in Adelaide (Elliott Johnson Chambers), Melbourne (Ah Ket Chambers) and Hobart (Old Mercury Chambers). He was admitted to practice in 1986. He joined the bar in 2005 and was appointed silk in 2013. Prior to joining the bar, he spent 19 years as a barrister and solicitor doing most of his own appearance work across a broad range of litigation areas.
Bruce is a member of the Advocacy Training Council and coaches on the Advocacy courses run by the Australian Bar Association.
