Abstract

A practical panel discussion from an Australian and New Zealand perspective. The discussion will examine why we should incorporate First Nations Aboriginal and Indigenous Māori values and perspectives into Tribunals, and how we can do this. Providing attendees with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of why this is important, discover actionable steps, real examples and leave empowered with actions to incorporate into their own practice, irrespective of experience or Tribunal.

ABOUT COAT

The COAT is intended to facilitate liaison and discussion between the heads of tribunals. It will support the development of best practice models and model procedural rules, standards of behaviour and conduct for members and increased capacity for training and support for members.
