Teresa Somes is a Lecturer in the Faculty of law at the University of Technology, Sydney. She specialises in equity and trusts, property, and elder law. Her research looks at the interaction of these areas, in particular intergenerational property transfers and how these transactions impact the legal position of the older person. Her PhD thesis examines access to justice issues in the context of family accommodation arrangements and puts forward suggestions for law reform.
