Using the CSIRO Data Access Portal API

Dominic Hogan, David Benn, Lawrence Toomey

The web services API for CSIRO’s Data Access Portal (DAP) allows researchers to bypass the user interface and start using the DAP with their own software tools.  We will demonstrate use of the API for searching, downloading and creating DAP collections.  The demonstrations will cover popular tools such as Python, R and Workspace.  Additionally there will be a sneak preview of our new user interface which is built on top of these web services.
